I am no expert on how the technical dealings of software should be designed. I’m willing to bet, however, that developing a robust and secure piece of software typically does not involve storing critical files in a folder titled Don’t Edit Here. Pretty, pretty please.
When your User’s Guide can only be accessed by administrative users after authentication, but your Utilities folder can be edited by anyone at any time, I believe it’s time to step back and reassess your development priorities.
