I’m sorry, Photoshop. I should have known that asking you to open a PSD, created on another computer by another copy of Photoshop CS3, was asking a lot. I appreciate your steadfastness and consistency in refusing to open the file even after restarting multiple times, and even when I would try to “sneak” the file to you by using your own file browser.
Like 37signals your efforts to combat scope creep should be commended, manifested in this case by absolutely refusing to yield to the “Documents created on another computer running the exact same software on the exact same operating system should be compatible with one another,” feature request.
