If Apple improved one thing and one thing only in Leopard, I wanted it to be the Address Book, specifically the Note field.
While they fixed the indenting issue that previously plagued the Note field, by the text highlight formatting you can tell that the brutal logic is still there. The “Note:” label is still grey and left-aligned, inconsistent with the other form labels, and the software still inserts a leading whitespace character that is not chomped upon saving.
Apple indeed made numerous other improvements to Address Book, and at no point do I ever yearn for my Tiger version. That said, I had hoped with the iPhone on the scene this would have garnered more attention.
